SE Factory

SE Factory (Software Engineering Factory) is an advanced coding bootcamp, based at Beirut Digital District, Lebanon, targeting youth from all socio-economic backgrounds and helping them become more job ready in Lebanon. It does so by selecting and intensively training computer science/engineering students to become professional full-stack web developers in cycles lasting three months each (full time). Only highly-motivated students willing to work long hours will be selected for the program. Introductions to potential employers will be made throughout and only upon completion of the program.

To-date, SE Factory has received over 1200 applications and graduated over 120 alumni. We have been operating for over two years now and have achieved 90% employment rate for our graduates over 8 cycles to date. In fact, our graduates have gone on to work for companies like Anghami, Wavemark and Foo (Lebanon) as well as for VC-backed startups such as Matic (Dubai).

Eligibility Criteria
  1. To be highly motivated and hard-working;
  2. To have studied the basics of computer science which is typically the case for Computer Science or Computer Engineering university graduates. However we accept all students who can demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental topics of Computer Science (Algorithms and Data structures, Database theory, Networking and Operating systems, Programming Languages theory etc.) whether they have a degree in the field or not. This program does not teach the basics of programming;
  3. To speak, read and write basic English;
  4. To be able to commit full time for 3 months, all weekdays from 10am to 7pm
Benefits Provided for Attendees This program is designed so that by the time you finish the 14 weeks, you would have all the knowledge of a full stack web developer. A full stack developer knows the nuts and bolts of a wide number of tools.
